My first report, I will start with a big THANK YOU!!! to all of you whom have been coming down to the shows, without you there would be NO success to report, so Thank You!!!
Mike Katon kicked our asses last Friday, man that cat can play a guitar, and what about Don on the drums, an animal for sure and Todd on bass, SOLID baby!!! Can't wait till August when they return.
Just finished the first recording session here, thanks to Nick Owen and the Coincidence for being the guinea pigs, they all left with big smiles on their faces.
As for the Precision Guesswork Productions, I am in the midst of finishing issue 8 of Bass Gear Magazine, if your a bass player and haven't heard of it yet, get online and get familiar, great new magazine full of reviews, interviews and much more.
This weekend we have Bull Halsey from Toledo swinging the place, should be a great time!
Don't forget the week long jam sessions as part of the Terra JAM Festival next week.

From Mike Katon, a great Thanks for the positive feedback!
"I would really like to thank everyone who came out to the Strand Concert Theater last Friday to help us boogie!...It really meant a lot to see all of your familiar faces!...As you know I haven't set foot on a stage for a show in almost 3 years and I couldn't think of a better place to have done it than The Strand!...what a cool venue in which to boogie!...it rates right at the top of the list next to some other great venues I've played over the years!...and George Keller-owner of The Strand rates at the top of my list as well!...I would also like to thank Donn Deniston and Todd Perkins for kickin' ass and keepin' 'hard on the boogie' with me!...and also Big Al,JJ and his band and everybody else that helped out!...
Really looking forward to doing it all again on August 3rd at the Strand!!!...
Keeping' Hard On!(The Boogie),MK"

What a great month of entertainment August turned out be full of!!!
Mike Katon and his guests blew the roof off again!! That kat never stops, you got to hit him on the head with a bottle to get his attention away from his guitar and fans!
Steve Gornall and the Blue Collar Blues Band was stunning as always, what a beautiful guitar player Steve is, WOW!
Looking forward to The Living Deads next week, gonna be a blast.
THANKS to all the fans who keep coming out to the shows, your support is greatly appreciated, tell your friends and family, we need to get this place filled up more often.

Last weeks "last friday funnies" was unfortunetly cancelled due to lack of participation by performers and fans, we hope that we can start this up again soon but am going to have to spend some time working out the kinks.
"The Living Deads" show while not well attended was fantastic, they will definetly be returning to the Strand.
Tonight is "Geezer Rampage" featuring Joey Gaydos, looking forward to another rockin blues evening!!!

Have so many great shows lately, WOW!!!
Just installed 24 channels of Klark Teknik Square One mic splitters, the theater is now a fully function recording venue. Recorded the Katon show the night as the guinea pig and they were rock solid and great sounding pre-amps!!!
Plenty of great upcoming shows, don't miss out!

Day after elections finally, maybe the phone will stop it's constant ringing now!
New video projector arrived today and screen will be here any day now, going to start some movie nights here, nothing new but look for great classics. Planing on bringing back "Last Friday Funnies" soon and starting up a regular "Teen Dance Night", forging ahead!
Our newly installed mic-splitters and hard disk recorder are functioning solid, recorded the Twistin' Tarantula show last week and the results are fabulous, so the theater is rock solid now!

Had a great ending to 2012 with Rick Shuler and the Horse Cave Trio shows, WOW, great crowds and great performers! 2013 is already booking up, we will be hosting weekly shows until Memorial Day weekend and then closing the theater for the summer this year. Last summer proved to not go well with all the happenings here on the North Coast and since we are not air-conditioned. Look for regular shows to begin again after Labor Day weekend. The theater is finally fully equipped and set up for recording, so if you have any interest please give me a call.

Most every week up to May 11th is booked with awesome talent, don't miss out. As stated earlier we will be closing the theater for the summer and are still on track with that.

Well, things sure have been up and down around here.... the Rude Mood show was a blast, with a sell out crowd that danced all night long to the band's electric blues sound. The Fremont Art and Music Societies M'Arti Gras Gala was a huge success for them, great attendance, great food and some really great art work by local students and teachers. Last Saturday's show was a bummer, very low turnout but my hopes are still high that things will come together here. Hope too see you at some shows!!!
